Dr. Charles Manak, Internal Medicine specialist, was recently honored as Physician of the Year at the 36^th Annual Montrose Fall Clinics ,  for his outstanding dedication to human service, educational growth and development of the Montrose Memorial Hospital medical staff, to the Montrose community, and especially to the patients he serves.

 

Dr. Manak joined the medical staff in 1990 and is currently the Medical Director of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado in Montrose and provides leadership and oversight of the educational programs at Montrose Memorial Hospital as the Director of Medical Education.

 

The Nursing Staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado were also honored and thanked for their dedicated service to the Montrose community and the patients and families they serve. Several  Hospice nurses were present to accept the award.
