Few hospitals the size of Montrose Memorial Hospital feature robotic assisted surgery. But at MMH, we’re fortunate to feature the most advanced equipment available for our Friends & Family.
MMH features the daVinci Xi – the most advanced robotic assisted surgical technology on the Western Slope. New features associated with the Xi model benefit surgeons during procedures, and provide a safer & shorter surgical experience for patients.
Robotic assisted surgical systems are controlled by surgeons who perform minimally-invasive surgeries through tiny incisions. Surgeons move the robotic arms during the entire course of the surgery. As opposed to open surgeries performed without the robot, robotic assisted surgeries enhance the surgeons’ capabilities by offering an increased range of motion and a high-definition 3D view of the inside of the body cavity.
The most advanced technology. A safer, shorter surgical experience. That’s Friends & Family Caring for Friends & Family.
