My career started in the ICU caring for severely ill patients 12 years ago as a Registered Nurse. I completed my Masters Degree from the University of Kansas, where I learned to appreciate and embrace non-interventive normal care. I am passionate about offering the birth experience individual parents dream off. I am equally passionate about supporting teenagers
through their journey of becoming successful parents.
I am married and have multiple children at any given time. We have 3 biological children and provide foster care to children in our home. We have a 6month old blue heeler/hound mix named Zoie. My hobbies include reading and continuing my education, as I am currently working on my Doctorate Degree.

Erin Sunday Newman, CNM, WHNP

My experience as a midwife has encompassed a full spectrum of midwifery and women's health. My clinical training was balanced between the University of Colorado Hospital and Colorado’s only free-standing birth center, Mountain Midwifery Birth Center located in Englewood, CO. Prior to becoming a CNM, I worked as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in women's health in both private practice as well as in a Public Health clinic. I am passionate about women's health and truly enjoy caring for women through the lifespan, from adolescence through menopause. I am now fortunate enough to have the opportunity to care for women through pregnancy and birth, and am grateful and proud to be a part of the wonderful group of women at MMH Nurse Midwives!
